CIA Greystone Opening Event

CIA Greystone began as Greystone Cellars in 1889 as a gravity-flow cooperative winery serving upper Napa Valley grape growers and was once the largest stone winery in the world. It was purchased by the Christian Brothers in 1950 and then the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in 1993. CIA currently offers classes in the original stone structure for food and wine professionals from around the world. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Napa’s history comes alive all around you in CIA Greystone’s main building, where the Barrel Room awaits your opening gala reception.

Extradimensional Wine Evening

An afternoon and evening with Hardy Wallace and Extradimensional Wine! Wine marketing rule-breaker with an honest and hardworking history, Hardy Wallace continues to redefine California wine in so many excellent ways. Hardy’s wines are spaceships that take you “beyond the known universe to places you can’t wait to talk about”. From video marketing, to multi sensual wine tastings, to good old wine country gulping of handcrafted wines, these are a few hours you will never forget.

Artesa Winery Closing Party

Spain’s oldest winemaking family, Raventós Codorníu, ventured to a special new world spot on an ocean-facing hillside in Napa Valley’s coastal Carneros AVA. Artesa Winery celebrates the harmony between nature, art & architecture; and serves as the most appropriate destination to close out the conference on Wednesday. Only minutes from our host hotel, the networking and education continues at a site where a 460-year Spanish winemaking history is leaned on to create their next generation of artisan wines in California.
