Guests can either fly into San Francisco Airport or Oakland Airport.
Transportation Options from San Francisco Airport
Town car and Limousine
Town car and limousine service can be arranged in advance through the Concierge. For domestic flight arrivals the cost is $135 inclusive (town car), $165 (SUV) or $255 (limousine). For international arrivals clearing customs at SFO, the cost is $185 (town car), $215(SUV) or $355 (limousine) including tax and gratuity.
Take the inter-terminal tram (Skytrain) to the airport BART station. Fare is $9.65 per person for BART to downtown San Francisco. Board any north-bound train (not Millbrae) and disembark at the Montgomery Street station.
When you exit the station you will be at the corner of Post Street and Montgomery Street. Please walk west on Post Street 3 blocks and then turn right onto Stockton Street. The Grand Hyatt will take up the entire left side of that block.
There are no hotel operated shuttles to downtown locations, but independent shuttle service is available. Airport shuttles now pick-up guests from the “Arrivals Level,” lower level, outside baggage claim. Most shuttle services charge $17-19 per person. No reservations taken. After collecting your luggage, proceed to the Information Desk and use the Courtesy phone to ring for pick up. All shuttles are staged at a nearby parking lot and will be dispatched to your location. Our preferred shuttle company is Airport Express (white van with blue diamond logo) because they only go to downtown hotels. They can be reached at 1-888-821-1447.
Available outside of baggage claim, taxis normally cost $50- $55 dollars (per cab, depending on traffic) plus tip. Please keep in mind that in the case of very bad traffic, the fare could be as much as $100.
In regards to app-based digital demand car service such as Uber & Lyft, a fare quote is given once you submit a transfer request and you will be asked to accept or decline. The fare price quoted is based on demand at that time. Expect as low as $40 and as high as $100.
Transportation Options from Oakland Airport
Take the AirBART shuttle ($3, exact change) to the Oakland Coliseum/Airport BART station. Board any San Francisco-bound train and disembark at the Powell Street station. Fare is $3.80 per person.
Available outside of baggage claim, and normally cost $50-70 dollars (per taxi, depending on traffic) plus tip.
Town car and Limousine
Town car and limousine service can be arranged in advance through the Concierge. For domestic flight arrivals the cost is $155 (town car), $175 (SUV) or $225 (limousine) including gratuity.
