The main Influencer track will continue to focus on topics for designers and influencers using social media marketing and digital content and platforms to build their businesses and personal brands. Whether new to social media or an established influencer, the content in this track equips design professionals with tips and tools to build their presence both on and offline. This track will delve into how interior designers utilize blogs, social media, and website tools to enhance their businesses and personal brands.

Influencer Marketing– Realizing Design Influence Off-Line While Leveraging Online Networks
Kate O’Hara, Director of Marketing and Business Development of Martha O’Hara Interiors, explains that even after years of time invested in online content and social marketing, every successful online brand or niche industry influencer power and fruits of influencer-status often lies in real-world moments.  Learn how influencers (and aspiring influencers) expand their reach through in-person moments – from hosting workshops, speaking engagements, flash sales and labs, to attending conferences, markets, and cocktail parties.

How to Make Yourself a Priority While Prioritizing Social Media
You have to be present on social media to be relevant in the world, but how can you make the biggest impact with the smallest time commitment. Abbi McCollum, Director, Social Media and Convergence at Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. will talk about how you can take advantage of publishing and content creation tools to save time, how to pick which social platform you should focus on, small adjustments you can make to content you already post to make it easier to find by big brands and how to stay sane in the crazy connected world we live in now. Steps to Building an Online Brand That Stands Out
In this work-along session, Franziska Neumann of FZK Franziska will share her unique 3-step method to creating successful online brands for her own interior designer clients. Walk away with your very own actionable strategy to build an effective online presence that attracts dream clients. Know which online tools are right for you and your unique creative tone. Heather French of French & French Interiors, a client since 2014, will join Franziska to offer her own perspective and concrete examples of how these strategies are practically applied and what the results look like. Attendees can select any sessions they would like to attend in either the Influencer or Brank tracks, and all participants can attend the General Sessions on Monday and Tuesday. However, please register according to the registration type as specified on our Registration page.
